📢 Kormotech participated in the "Nebaiduzhi" ("Caring") Conference, the first large-scale event in Ukraine dedicated to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Organized by the Zagoriy Foundation, it was an honor for us to be part of a community of businesses, initiatives, and foundations that implement projects transforming society and setting new standards for charity and social responsibility in Ukraine. The conference brought together over 4️⃣0️⃣ speakers in6️⃣panel discussions and solo presentations. The event focused on the challenges of charity during the war and explored new ideas for collaboration between businesses and the public sector. Highlights included the presentation of a CSR Guide based on 60 interviews with representatives of companies, NGOs, and military funds and the results of the second CSR Research in Ukraine, conducted by the Zagoriy Foundation. Our company was represented in the panel discussion "Communicating Social Initiatives," where our Chief Reputation Officer, Alina Smyshliak, shared the stage with leading experts from business, media, and public initiatives: 🖤 Vira Shcherbakova, Head of Communications at Ajax Systems 🖤 Yelyzaveta Bordunova, Editor-in-Chief at VECTOR 🖤 Olena Balbek, Founder of NGO Blood agents, CEO of the Ukrainian Association of Football Orysia Khimyak, former PR Head at Reface and Respeecher and curator of the Projector Institute "PR Basics" course, moderated the panel. ✅ The participants discussed sensitive issues surrounding the communication of social initiatives: where to draw the red lines, how to avoid mistakes, how to overcome resistance during project implementation, and how to convey the value of these initiatives to businesses. The conversation also addressed how social impact and changing people’s behavior can benefit businesses. ❓ What did Kormotech share We talked about our experience in implementing projects that transform people's attitudes toward animals and the challenges we face. One such project is Save Pets of Ukraine, which began as an emergency aid initiative for animals during the war. Today, it is a large-scale international program that has raised over $7️⃣ million in donations from global manufacturers and foundations. The project supports shelters, prepares them for winter, provides vaccinations, and undertakes other vital initiatives. 🗨️ "Corporate social responsibility is no longer about isolated or strategic projects. It is part of our daily commitment to our mission and an integral product element. It drives changes in people’s behavior and attitudes toward animals, opening up new business opportunities and meeting societal expectations. People want businesses to be profitable and socially responsible," said Alina Smyshliak-Boroda, Chief Reputation Officer at Kormotech. #corporatesocialresponsibility #scr #nebaiduzhi2024 #savepetsofukraine

🗨️ "In 2014, as the world was changing, we decided to adapt and change the game. This decision opened the path to Europe," shared Igor Paranyak, COO of Kormotech, at the 5th conference of the "Business Transformations of the Ukrainian Agro Market" series in Kyiv. This year's forum theme was "Directors of Transformations: How Ukrainian Business Changes Markets and Industries." ✅ Igor Paranyak discussed Kormotech's transformation from a local manufacturer to a global player, where each crisis became the starting point for new opportunities. One such opportunity was investing in plants in Lithuania. Today, Kormotech's factories produce over 100,000 tons of products annually for animals almost from all over the world. We are not resting on our laurels. By 2028, we plan to be among the top 3️⃣0️⃣ largest global pet food producers. Special thanks to the organizers: AgriChange, the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers, and the Association of Light Industry 💙 #kormotech #businesstransformation #petfoodproducer #petfood

🗨️ "Being a leader means being noticeable and visible. Working with products, companies, CEOs, and owners who create real value for society and attract public interest is a great responsibility and privilege for a communications professional. In communications, our tasks need to increase this visibility and help meet our business objectives. To ensure we are on the right track, we continuously analyze data, facts, and behavioral changes." This approach is how Alina Smyshliak-Boroda, Chief Reputation Officer at Kormotech, describes her professional role. Alina and Oksana Malychkovych, founder of the LBI agency that specializes in measuring communication effectiveness, showcased such metrics at the PR Marathon, Ukraine's largest annual communications market event. 💫 Embrace the challenge to be noticeable leaders!

On November 21, Ukraine observes the Day of Dignity and Freedom. This day marks the beginning of the events on Independence Square in 2013 when thousands of Ukrainians stood up to defend our right to freedom and a European future. This struggle became a turning point in our country's history. Ukrainians proved that Dignity and Freedom are not just words but the foundation of our national identity. We honor those who fought for our freedom and those who continue to defend our independence on the frontline. Today, as then, we believe freedom is our strength and worth fighting for! 💙 💛
