State of PR 2024: what's new in the industry? With reporting, tendering, and project matters, I've just gotten my hands on the LOOQME study. Last year, I helped present it, so I dug up my insights, added something, and even cried a bit. You know. 📍 The personnel issue is real. It also appears in this year's study, although it is far from being in first place. Subjectively, finding specialists with the necessary skills this year is more complex than ever, especially for agency dynamics. Let me know how you are dealing with this. 📍Pitching challenges. In the global State of PR 2024 presented by Mack Rack, "getting responses from journalists" is in 2nd place among the challenges for industry professionals and number one for agencies. This answer was chosen by more than 50% of survey participants. Our experience of events with media participation in November alone confirms this statement. The struggle of brands for media attention is becoming "fierce", including due to the workload of journalists, staffing shortages and switching. 📍Artificial Intelligence. The value of the skill of using it in work has increased significantly compared to last year (+20%). 71% of participants in the State of PR survey in Ukraine use it more often than last year. I am more likely to trust Chat GPT with data analytics and prepare for basic creative ideas we develop and adjust later. In addition, proactivity and autonomy are among our NF's top requirements. Clients expect this from us, and we as a business have been guaranteeing it for many years—uncompromisingly high-quality services provided by proactive and responsible specialists.
