When we won the GIZ Ukraine tender for developing a communication strategy, working with the stakeholder block became a real challenge for our team. There were many audiences, their interests were diametrically opposed, and they differed in location, level of knowledge, and involvement in the strategy subject. Bringing them together into one plane to further work on the message box and communication channels is a task that only a very systematic person with outstanding analytical abilities could handle. Sofiia Sorokina, M&P Communications manager, didn't just cope with this challenge – she analyzed the stakeholder topic inside and out, which is why we decided to share this experience-based knowledge in an expert article on VECTOR.

In times of uncertainty, many companies shy away from long-term planning. But is this the right approach? Kateryna Didkovska, Managing Partner, and Nikita Vakulenko, PR Manager at M&P Communications, challenge this notion in their recent article. When asked if they plan to exist in 3, 5, 7, or 10 years, businesses pause and reconsider. They realize the need for strategies to survive and grow, including communication strategies, as business success heavily relies on effective communication. M&P Communications, with over 16 years of experience in developing comprehensive PR strategies, highlights four key reasons why companies need a PR strategy, especially during crises: Increased sales and profit: Well-planned communication initiatives can lead to a 20% increase in sales and 2.5 times faster profit growth. Protection against reputational risks: Companies with crisis plans and consistent pre-crisis communication can minimize reputational damage. Efficient resource utilization: A clear strategy helps avoid wasteful PR activities and focuses investments on result-driven initiatives. Long-term stability and resilience: Strategic planning allows businesses to anticipate future challenges and stay ahead of competitors. As Kateryna Didkovska notes, "In today's climate of optimized budgets, a research-backed strategy ensures that money is spent most effectively and goals are achieved." In the face of war and constant challenges, a well-thought-out PR strategy isn't just desirable—it's necessary for business success. It helps increase sales, protect reputation, use resources efficiently, and ensure long-term stability.
