  • ☁️ Cloud services for the government: Establishing clear regulations The government has adopted a resolution that sets clear rules for state agencies using cloud services. Our team developed this resolution to implement effective cloud technology regulations and position Ukraine as a predictable player in the international market. Digital infrastructure must operate without interruption under any conditions, while data stored in the cloud remains securely protected through backup, encryption, and easy recovery in case of failures. In February 2022, a law was passed allowing registries to be moved abroad and data stored in the cloud. State agencies can now keep their data in foreign data centers without moving it back to Ukraine after the war ends. What else is important: ✅ We will create an electronic catalog of cloud providers for state agencies ✅ We will establish clear requirements and data protection standards for providers ✅ We will streamline procurement through electronic catalogs ✅ We will introduce a standard contract — uniform rules for all, simplifying cooperation between the government and IT companies For our international partners, it is essential that Ukraine remains an open player with effective legislation. Looking ahead, we will focus on developing a cybersecurity strategy and a national cloud model in collaboration with leading global technology companies. Strengthening the country’s digital security 🦾

  • 🤝🏻 Human Capital Development, School Equipment, and Cybersecurity Enhancement: Results of the Cooperation Between the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and Cisco Valeriya Ionan participated in Cisco Live 2025, a premier event where trends in digital transformation are shaped and new collaboration opportunities emerge. On the main stage, alongside Guy Diedrich, Senior Vice President and Global Innovation Officer at Cisco, she presented Ukraine’s digital achievements and expressed gratitude for the effective partnership. Cisco, a leading American networking equipment manufacturer and a strategic partner of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has provided significant support, especially during the full-scale russian invasion. The company has supplied free equipment, software licenses, and services to maintain Ukraine’s critical digital infrastructure. Notably, Cisco granted access to its Webex video communication system, enabling Ukrainians to get married in the Diia app with just a few clicks 💍 In June 2023, Ukraine signed a memorandum to join Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration program. With the company’s support, numerous key initiatives have been implemented, including CDTO Campus, sectoral strategies withing the Ukrainian Global Innovation Strategy (WINWIN), Ukraine’s first immersive hub in Ternopil, nine educational programs and educational series on the Diia.Education platform. We sincerely appreciate Cisco’s strong support and effective cooperation and look forward to new, impactful joint projects 🙌🏻

  • 🇪🇺 The EU Digital Identity Wallet will be launched by the end of 2026 Soon, Ukrainians will be able to use digital documents abroad, while Europeans will be able to use theirs in Ukraine. We recently met with members of the Potential consortium to test the compatibility of electronic documents with prototypes of European digital wallets. Our developers checked how Дія’s electronic documents work alongside mobile applications from EU countries. The EU Digital Identity Wallet will be helpful in many everyday situations abroad, such as registering SIM cards, opening bank accounts, or presenting documents on the phone. Ukraine is the only non-EU country among the 20 participating nations. Our experience in building a digital state is unique and valuable to the world. We continue working toward integration with the EU’s single digital market 📲 The Ministry of Digital Transformation's adaptation to the EU Digital Identity Wallet requirements is supported by the European Union under the DT4UA project, implemented by Estonia’s e-Governance Academy. Diia’s participation in the France and Germany-led POTENTIAL pilot project is co-funded by the European Union.

  • 👩🏻💻 70% of Ukraine’s IT companies are residents of Diia City Three years ago, Diia.City was launched as the best legal and tax environment for IT businesses. Since then, it has grown from an ambitious idea into a large-scale project that has become the foundation for developing Ukraine’s entire IT ecosystem. Today, Diia.City is:  💼 1,555 residents, including monobank, Grammarly, Reface, Rakuten Viber, Visa, Nokia, and many other tech leaders 👨🏻💻 Nearly 100,000 IT professionals working at resident companies 💸 Over UAH 30 billion in taxes paid to the state budget We continuously analyze the market and the state’s needs, expanding the scope of activities in Diia.City. Currently, the space stimulates the development of 14 sectors, from defense tech to IT R&D. This summer, we added bionic prosthesis manufacturers to the list. In just three years, Diia.City has provided a powerful boost to the development of Ukraine’s IT ecosystem. Looking ahead to next year, we have even more exciting opportunities for tech businesses:  👉🏻 We’ll expand the scope to include companies engaged in biotechnology, genetic engineering, and those developing and testing products in all possible fields. 👉🏻 We’ll launch Diia.City Invest to reduce the time it takes to create a venture fund in Ukraine to just one week. Happy 3rd anniversary, Diia.City. The best is yet to come!

  • 💫 Five years of digital transformation with Diia Lines, bureaucracy, and endless photocopies are things Ukrainians are leaving in the past thanks to Diia. Five years ago, at the president’s initiative, Ukraine launched its digital state, putting government services in a smartphone. Today, it’s hard to imagine life without it. Diia now offers 28 digital documents, more than 40 services in the app, and over 130 services on the portal. Ukraine was the first country in the world to grant electronic documents the same legal status as paper ones, so passports, student IDs, and veteran IDs are always at hand in Diia. We’ve ushered in a new era of public services: Ukrainians can now start businesses, apply for essential benefits, and even get married online in minutes. And we’re not stopping. This year, we’re taking digitalization even further — bringing notary services online, integrating an AI assistant into Diia, and making it possible to change your last name in just a few clicks. Diia is part of pop culture and a brand of the digital state, loved at home and recognized worldwide. We’re moving forward together because at the heart of every digital service is the person 🫂

  • 🇯🇵🤝🏻🇺🇦 Strengthening technological cooperation with Japan Mykhailo Fedorov and his deputies Alex Bornyakov and Valeriya Ionan met with Masashi Nakagome, the new Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine. They discussed the achievements of digital Ukraine during the war and shared the results of the Ministry of Digital Transformation’s projects. Japan is a global leader in innovation and technology development. It’s crucial for us to build a win-win partnership to strengthen each other. During the meeting, we discussed areas of joint projects. We aim to involve Japanese partners in implementing Ukraine's WINWIN digital innovation development strategy, particularly in robotics and hardware solutions. In 2023, we signed a memorandum with Japan, agreeing to exchange the best GovTech solutions and strengthen collaboration in cybersecurity. Last year, we held joint cybersecurity competitions and workshops. On our part, we are ready to continue sharing our expertise in launching digital services and digitizing the public sector. We are grateful to Masashi Nakagome for his visit. We will continue to expand our cooperation with Japan and create powerful joint projects 💪🏻

  • In Ukraine, data runs, not people  📲 10+ billion transactions through Trembita Millions of Ukrainians are receiving electronic services and generating digital documents on Diia. There are no queues, bureaucracy, or corruption. All of this is possible thanks to Trembita, a system that ensures fast data exchange between registries and government authorities. In over 5 years of operation, the system has already processed 10+ billion transactions. During this time, Trembita has saved Ukrainians more than 38 billion UAH on travel to institutions and photocopies. It has also saved over 124,000 years of Ukrainians' lives spent on waiting in queues and manually filling out forms. Thanks to Trembita, you save time and money on service applications and help preserve the environment by reducing carbon emissions. The electronic system doesn’t accept bribes to speed up processes, making it an effective tool for rooting out corruption. We’re digitizing so you can click-click — and it’s done 🙌🏻 Trembita is actively developing with the support of the European Union within the frameworks of the EU4DigitalUA and DT4UA projects, implemented by the e-Governance Academy.
