Modus Soft was started as a small group of enthusiasts 14 years ago, our team evolved to 32 experienced engineers. While having a strong emphasis on backend development and administration, we have successfully provided other project-related services and managed projects from start to lifecycle support. Most of our software team are full-stack developers who mostly employ agile development methodology while being flexible on other approaches offered by the client. We concentrate on building productive relationships with our customers based on deep understanding of offshore development specifics. We are particularly proud of team-oriented approach to projects where each team member expertise is multiplied by friendly and productive inter-team communications. Our key activities: ✅ We develop and support trouble-proof cloud solutions, including cloud migration, data protection, CI/CD, DevOps, IaaS, etc ✅ We develop custom software using various tools and languages (software development and testing, solution architecture, support, data loading) ✅ Server Management ✅ Disaster recovery planning and infrastructure backup Our Tech Stack list includes almost all common Linux platforms and Windows, and also cloud computing. Languages and technologies we work with are Java, Python, C#/C++, JavaScript Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, HSQL, Derby, MongoDB, Amazon Redshift, etc. Today we are 40 professionals who see our mission in freeing our clients from having to worry about a part of their business processes beyond their specialization, allowing them to focus on making business instead.

What is the role of soft skills in IT? Have you ever reflected on that? Acknowledging the importance of supporting young generation on their route to adult life, Modus Soft has again participated in an educational event. This time in a Leadership Forum for the educators: teachers and school principles. I had an honor to speak on behalf of the Company, delivering a presentation on Soft Skills in IT. I aimed to emphasize the value of developing communicative and leadership skills in future IT specialists, since young age.
