Last week, our CS2 team has successfully qualified from the RMR championship straight to the Elimination Stage (we are in the top 16!) of Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 – winter's largest tournament with a $1,250,000 prize pool. NAVI remains the only club in the world to have competed in all Majors by Valve, with the upcoming event in Shanghai becoming our 21st. We are also the current PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 champions coming in to defend our title. This year, our CS2 roster has been the definition of consistency in esports: We won four top-level LAN tournaments - PGL Major Copenhagen, ESL Pro League Season 20, Esports World Cup 2024 and IEM Rio, and took silver at IEM Cologne. In the HLTV.org rankings, NAVI has now held the title of the world's best team for 16 weeks in a row. Our club's achievements have been recognized by leading esports media worldwide: right now, NAVI CS2 team is nominated for The Game Awards' Best Esports Team, while Aleksib is a contender for the title of this year’s Best Esports Athlete. You can support our club by voting here (https://lnkd.in/dS2FR_Qy). And don't forget to cheer for NAVI at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in December!

The first season of NAVI Visa Academy is over! The two-month project turned out to be truly exciting and global: we received player applications from 48 different countries, and fans from all over the world followed the successes of young talents - over 4M+ total impressions and 38K+ total engagement. Following the qualifying stage, the top 10 players went through a three-week bootcamp in Berlin, which made them into real stars. We received a huge amount of positive feedback from the community and fueled the audience's interest with content across platforms: the NAVI Visa Academy landing page, long and short videos, social media and messengers. In the end, we determined the final five players to form the new NAVI Youth CS2 roster. The Academy graduates have already performed in their first pro tournaments. During the project, we received many comments from players who wrote that joining NAVI is their biggest dream. Thanks to Visa, the dream can once again come true in the new seasons of NAVI Visa Academy. Stay tuned for updates!

Last Sunday our CS2 team achieved a fantastic victory at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 tournament. It wasn't just about the $100,000 prize and a new trophy added to our collection – we also made a historic comeback on the grand final's decisive map, climbing from 2:10 to 13:11. "Absolute cinema to close the match in this fashion!!!" — as the team coach B1ad3 put it on Twitter. The tournament final was watched by over 700,000 viewers at its peak, and 4 of the 5 most popular championship matches featured NAVI. Two of our team members got recognition for their performances: jL was named the tournament's best player by DHL, and iM got the MVP title from HLTV.org – the first such award in the career of the Romanian. We also equaled last year's FaZe Clan record for the number of consecutive LAN finals at 6, and the victory at IEM Rio 2024 was NAVI's fourth Tier 1 event this year. Our next opportunity to set new records will be the BLAST World Finals at the end of October. The prize pool for the event is $1,000,000. We are grateful to all the fans who supported NAVI throughout the tournament, both in the arena and online. And special thanks to our sponsors — GG.BET, Logitech G, BACKFORCE, PUMA, and Guild of Guardians.

Highlights of the Match of LeGGends: Double Down On 5 October, the legendary battle berween Natus Vincere and Team Vitality took place, organized by GG.BET. Match of LeGGends: Double Down drew in more than 300,000 views on the official broadcast channels. The show match featured unique game modes not typically seen in tournaments, making it truly unforgettable. The first map, Tuscan, was played in an MR12 format. Team Vitality dominated the first half, but NAVI managed to make a comeback and secure victory with a 13:11 score. In the second stage, the players faced off in Arms Race on the maps Shoots, Pool Day, and Baggage. The most unforgettable were duels between the tournament’s S-Tier MVPs Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Justinas "jL" Lekavičius. jL snatched a win on the first map, but ZywOo came out on top on the next two, securing victory for Team Vitality. This past Sunday, Malta hosted the finals of the prestigious ESL Pro League tournament. Our CS2 team was crowned champions, earning a $170,000 prize with their first best-of-5 victory since September 2021. The tournament final was watched by over 800,000 viewers — 6.5% more than the previous EPL record. NAVI continues to have the League's most viewed matches, which only underscores the club's global popularity. We thank all the fans and our sponsors for their incredible support throughout the event. The title of the tournament's MVP was expectedly awarded to jL with a 1.31 rating. It is the second such medal in his career, the first earned at PGL Major Copenhagen. The ESL Pro League championship also brought NAVI back to the top of the HLTV.org rankings, once again proving that our CS2 roster is currently the strongest on the pro scene. Our next challenge will be BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, which starts tomorrow. Be sure to support the team during the livestream! Finally, we are proud to point out that our NAVI Junior team also made it into the top 80 of the updated rankings, having won three online tournaments in a row in September. This is the best result for our youth roster since the time b1t was still a junior player. We will give you more details later, so stay tuned for updates.

The NAVI Visa Academy opening selection stage is over! Together with the project coach and our NAVI CS2 players, we reviewed over 350 applications from all over the world submitted by talented young players aged 14 to 17. The top ten candidates have already arrived at NAVI Berlin bootcamp and started training with experienced coach Michał «snatchie» Rudzki, former professional CS:GO player. They have two weeks of intensive training ahead of them: not only playing in team matches, but also doing teambuilding exercises, replay analysis, having lectures on theory, and much more. NAVI and Visa are united by a common goal: developing these young talents to become esports pros competing at the tier-1 level. Our participants' profiles and the first YouTube vlogs about the team’s life and training process are already available on the NAVI Visa Academy website. In September, we will select the final five players to form the new NAVI Youth CS roster. Subscribe to the Academy’s email newsletter and stay updated with all the latest news. Just yesterday, NAVI CS2 team won the biggest championship of the summer - the Esports World Cup 2024 in Riyadh. Our players didn't just earn a $400,000 prize and 1,000 Club Points - they proved once again that our club is one of the best in the world. With this victory, NAVI has entered the race for $20,000,000, which will be contested among all participant clubs after the Esports World Cup concludes. To qualify for a share of the prize money, the club must twice place in the top 8 in different disciplines. And thanks to the successful performances by our Warzone (5th place) and CS2 (1st place) teams, we have already accomplished this task! Coming up, our PUBG, Apex Legends, Tekken 8, StarCraft II, and Teamfight Tactics rosters will take up the baton and try to earn us more rating points. We hope that the guys will continue the streak of excellent results. It's also worth pointing out that the Esports World Cup 2024 MVP, according to HLTV.org, was Valerii «b1t» Vakhovskyi. It's the first such award for the NAVI original, whose career is already marked with two Major victories, and a further testament to the effectiveness of the NAVI Academy and our efforts to develop young talents. And just in case you've missed it, a few days ago, in partnership with Visa, we announced the start of a new season of the NAVI CS2 Academy for young players aged 16 to 19. Read more about it in our previous post.
