The atmosphere here is electric, with the best minds in fintech and banking coming together to shape the future of finance. USA-based AI business automation platform PLATMA is planning to enter the MENA market after securing a $2.2 million pre-Seed funding round at a valuation of $20 million. The round is led by Almaz Capital, with participation from Kazakhstan's EA Group Holding, Uzbekistan’s AloqaVentures, and several other investors and angel backers. The round also saw support from Estonia-based Startup Wise Guys, Azerbaijan’s CAUCASUS VC, and venture investors from Kazakhstan, such as Tumar Venture Fund, MOST Ventures, ACTIVAT VC, and angel investor Murat Abdrakhmanov. Founded in 2022 by Maksym Kolyada, Maksym Prokhorov, Serhii Kozlov and Yaroslav Kologryvov, PhD, PLATMA enables users without programming skills to create complex business processes simply by describing them in natural English.
