📢 OPEN CALL for the PANORAMA UKRAINE WORKSHOP!
We are now accepting applications for a three-day workshop as part of the PANORAMA UKRAINE project. The workshop theme is “Healthy and Future-Proof Neighborhoods.”
Over three days, Ukrainian architects, urbanists, designers together with Dutch and Ukrainian tutors and experts, will develop solutions for five Ukrainian communities and change the approach to neighborhood design.
Why neighborhoods?
Because this way of living is historically characteristic of Ukrainians. During the reconstruction of Ukraine, neighborhoods should occupy a central place – both as providers of essential urban functions and as a cornerstone of a renewed, healthier Ukrainian society.
📅 Open call dates: August 5-19, 2024
📝 Who can apply: Ukrainian architects, urbanists, urban designers, and urban planners. Contributions from sociologists, geographers, and economists are also welcome. We are looking for both professionals and students.
👥 Workshop leaders: Dutch and Ukrainian spatial planning experts, experts in specific topics, and representatives of selected communities.
To apply, fill out the application form by the link in the comments.
📌 The workshop will take place from September 9 to 11 in Lviv, at Urban Camp Lviv, where participants will live and work on the event’s tasks. Participation in the workshop includes shared accommodation and meals.
The workshop is part of the long-term Ukraine Netherlands Urban Network (UNUN.NU) program, the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR), the Dutch Board of Government Advisors (CRa), Vereniging Deltametropool (VDM) in cooperation with Ukrainian partners Restart, Urban Reform, and @ReThink
