💦It’s #Time4Action to deliver #3xRenewables #WithHydropower Eddie Rich, CEO of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) and Vice-Chair of GRA, explains the role of sustainable #hydropower in delivering on the global #3xRenewables target: “Sustainable hydropower is the backbone of the renewables mix. If we want to get the most out of wind and solar, we also need to make sure that we have that firm capacity that is there at all times.” IHA is releasing the 2024 World Hydropower Outlook, on 12 June, which highlights the latest developments, trends and recommendations to set the course for the hydropower sector for delivering a clean energy transition.
