🌱Building Resilience through Sustainable Permaculture! 🌱 At ASHE, we’ve transplanted carrots, beetroots, sukuma wiki, green pepper, eggplant, and spinach in Kabazana Village, Nakivale Refugee Settlement, focusing on soil regeneration and permaculture practices for sustainability. Beneficiaries were taught how to transfer plants from the nursery bed to their own gardens, and seeds were distributed to empower them with the skills and resources needed to thrive. ASHE is teaching refugees how to grow their own food, focusing on nutritious crops that enhance their health and reduce dependence on external aid. With their background experience, refugees are not a burden but problem solvers who actively contribute to their host communities.
