  • 🌱 From Growing Hope to Harvesting Hope 🌾 At ASHE(Action for Save Humanity in Emergency), we've witnessed an incredible journey of transformation. What began as planting seeds of hope through our 'Growing Hope' permaculture training project in Kabazana Village has now blossomed into a harvest of resilience, empowerment, and sustainability. This milestone symbolizes more than just agricultural success—it represents the empowerment of refugees and host communities, the restoration of the environment, and the fostering of self-reliance. Together, we’ve cultivated a future where hope is not only grown but also harvested, nourishing lives and dreams. A heartfelt thank you to every team member, volunteer, and participant who made this possible. Your dedication and effort continue to inspire change and strengthen our shared vision of a sustainable and inclusive future. 💚 Let’s keep planting seeds of change and growing opportunities for all! #Empowerment #Sustainability #RefugeeSupport #HarvestingHope #GrowingCommunities #Permaculture

  • 🌱 Field Visit with ASHE Staff and Team Leaders 🌱 Today, we conducted a home visit with ASHE staff and the team leaders of our beneficiaries to assess the impact of the vegetables distributed as part of our agricultural support program. It was inspiring to see how these vegetables are transforming lives by improving household nutrition and reducing dependency on external food sources. During our discussions, we also addressed the challenges beneficiaries are facing, ranging from pest control to water scarcity. These conversations are vital for refining our approach and ensuring the program meets its objectives effectively. At ASHE, we believe in empowering communities to achieve self-reliance and food security through sustainable agricultural practices. Every feedback and challenge shared today strengthens our commitment to making a tangible difference. #ASHE #GrowingHope #Agriculture #Empowerment #Sustainability #FoodSecurity #CommunityDevelopment

  • 🌱 Boosting Crop Health and Sustaining Livelihoods in Kabazana Village 🌱 At ASHE (Action for Save Humanity in Emergency), we're thrilled to share our recent progress as we support our beneficiaries in Kabazana Village with vital agricultural practices. Today, we applied natural pesticides to vegetable crops that we’ve cultivated alongside the community. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to equip refugees and host communities with practical skills for self-reliance, food security, environmental stewardship, and the fight against malnutrition. By growing healthy, chemical-free vegetables, we’re not only keeping crops safe but also providing essential nutrients to families who need it most. The application of these eco-friendly pesticides helps control pests effectively while ensuring sustainable, organic farming practices. A huge thank you to all involved, especially our community farmers, for your dedication to making this project a success! Together, we’re building a resilient, self-sustaining future, one vegetable at a time. 🌿 #ASHEImpact #FightAgainstMalnutrition #FoodSecurity #CommunityEmpowerment #SustainableAgriculture #RefugeeSupport #SelfReliance #EnvironmentalStewardship

🌱Building Resilience through Sustainable Permaculture! 🌱 At ASHE, we’ve transplanted carrots, beetroots, sukuma wiki, green pepper, eggplant, and spinach in Kabazana Village, Nakivale Refugee Settlement, focusing on soil regeneration and permaculture practices for sustainability. Beneficiaries were taught how to transfer plants from the nursery bed to their own gardens, and seeds were distributed to empower them with the skills and resources needed to thrive. ASHE is teaching refugees how to grow their own food, focusing on nutritious crops that enhance their health and reduce dependence on external aid. With their background experience, refugees are not a burden but problem solvers who actively contribute to their host communities. This initiative demonstrates how, when given the right skills and resources, refugees can turn challenges into solutions. Together, we’re fostering hope and growth. 🌍💪 #Sustainability #RefugeeResilience #Agriculture #Permaculture #ASHE#NakivaleRefugeeSettlement

Empowering Kabazana Village with Sustainable Soil Regeneration!   Today,we’re advancing soil amelioration by combining manure with decomposed organic matter. This permaculture technique enhances soil productivity, boosting resilience and supporting sustainability for communities. Proud to witness such impactful progress in this vulnerable community. A special thanks to Sergej Lugovic, PhD for his mentorship and Radek Wierzbicki for his support in connecting us with the mentors needed to help these communities thrive. #SustainableLiving #SoilAmelioration #Permaculture#Ecocivilisation#Unsung Heroes - Ventures For Humanity#Beyond Boundaries Foundation #CommunityProsperity

  • This is a great organization that helps many refugees have a safe place to be, a place to rest, and a place to get water, food, and clothing. This organization aims to help the refugees to get well, be educated, and gain employment, whether it is through self-employment or through other local small businesses.
