Here is Norah’s Story through the lens of her sponsors Jeff and Bonnie. 26 years ago, Bonnie felt a nudge to sponsor a young girl from Uganda named Norah. That simple “yes” turned into a story far greater than they could have imagined. Through letters and prayers, Bonnie and her husband Jeff watched Norah grow into a confident young woman with a deep faith. What they didn’t know was how life-changing their support truly was. Fast forward decades, and Norah is now a social worker and an advocate, sharing how sponsorship and their belief in her gave her hope. “Every word they said felt like an asset to me,” Norah shares. “They believed in me, prayed for me, and showed me that I could dream again.” Hearing Norah call them her “other parents” brought everything full circle for Jeff and Bonnie, who were humbled to see how God used their small act of faith to make such a big impact.
