GOGO Electric's COO, Janos S Bisasso, and USAID's Economic Growth Office Director Amy Beeler recently shared insights with Voice of America on the adoption of e-mobility in Uganda, the impact of clean energy on the country's climate, and growth opportunities in clean energy solutions. “The true test for acceptance of GOGO Electric motorcycles and clean energy adoption by motorcycle taxi riders was in creating a product that meets their needs and remains accessible to them,” - Janos. Andrew Ndyamuhaki, a motorcycle taxi rider who has been using a GOGO electric motorcycle for over 18 months shared his story. He has found significant value for his money in swapping batteries instead of refueling and has managed to double his earnings since transitioning from a fuel motorcycle to an electric one. He is among many entrepreneurs who have increased their earnings by embracing electric motorcycles for their businesses. We extend our gratitude to USAID/Feed the Future Uganda Strategic Investments Activity's team for their commitment to collaborate on projects dedicated to building resilience against climate change and empowering Ugandans financially. We look forward to more opportunities to work together. Video credit: Voice of America William J. I was in some parts of Mukono District today trying to shed a light on the importance of going E-mobility. With combined efforts,we can have a carbon free environment and live a healthier life. Switching from fuel bikes to EV bikes dramatically reduces carbon emissions, with a staggering 70%-95% decrease in CO2 output! Fuel bikes emit an average of 150-200 grams of CO2 per mile, while EV bikes produce zero tailpipe emissions, with a total well-to-wheel emission of just 20-50 grams of CO2 per mile. Widespread adoption of EV bikes could slash CO2 emissions by up to 50% in the transportation sector! Make the switch and ride the wave of sustainability with EV bikes! Watu Credit in partnership with GOGO Electric is here to do all the necessary financing to make sure EV Bikes are affordable on loan basis,

🌿 Renewable Energy Week Updates ½ 🌿 ⚡️ GOGO Electric was proud to attend the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Mobility Conference under the theme “Energy Efficiency, Endless Benefits”, where we shared our insights on skills development for the e-Mobility sector, with Jakob Hornbach, our CEO/Co-Founder. 💡 Key takeaway: For Uganda's e-mobility sector, capacity building is essential and immediate. We must empower talent now to effectively contribute to the ecosystem. 🔧 To bridge this skills gap, GOGO Electric has trained over 107 technicians and welcomed over 25% of them as interns and employees. We are officially accredited as an assessment centre by the Directorate of Industrial Training under the Ministry of Education and Sports, demonstrating our commitment to fostering talent in the e-mobility sector. Our vision is for e-mobility to be included in the curricula of tertiary institutions, equipping future talent for the vast opportunities in Uganda's growing e-mobility industry. A huge thank you to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development and its partners for organizing this event and allowing us to contribute to such valuable discussions. #GOGOElectric #EMobilityUg #Sustainability #Innovation #ElectricMotorbikes #GreenTransformation #ElectricMobility 👋 Special mentions: Eng.
