About us
Hima Cement Ltd. is the preferred supplier of building products and solutions in East Africa. The history of Hima Cement stretches back to 1994 when the Uganda government made a decision to privatize Uganda Cement Industries, forming two separate companies, one of which was Hima Cement. Hima Cement supplies all regions across Uganda as well as the export markets of Rwanda, Southern Sudan and DRC. Health and safety is at the center of everything we do, from the daily routines in our plants to our customers’ project worksites and our actions in our neighboring communities.
