The president Dr. Rukare Donald emphasized federations to abide by the new sports law of Uganda (sports act 2023). This step is towards promoting sports development nationwide. The law requires federations to cover at least 70% of their sport countrywide, ensuring their impact and presence are felt across the country. By implementing this law, the government seeks to create a more inclusive and widespread sports culture, where federations play a vital role in promoting their sports and developing talent across the country.
