My Christmas came early! I’m overjoyed because my Christmas arrived ahead of schedule, thanks to my secret Santa(PRAU Uganda), a true guardian of the work we do in communications. I had the pleasure of attending the 8th PRAU Uganda Excellence Awards at Protea Hotel recently. It was my first time at the event, and I’m so thrilled for all the winners of the night, especially my friends at Capital One Group (COG). Their incredible work with Equity Bank earned them the Best Crisis Communication Campaign of the Year—truly well-deserved! Recognitions like these are what propel our industry forward, and it was inspiring to witness. I haven’t done much networking this year, but this experience was so exciting and reminded me how much I enjoy connecting with fellow comms pros. I’m looking forward to doing more of it in 2025.
