About us
Founded in 2011, the Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance (UAPA) is a network of 40 civil society organizations (CSO) working to reduce alcohol related harm in Uganda through advocacy for effective policies and making positive contributions working with Ministry of Health (Mental Health Division). UAPA operates at national level while the member organizations at district and community levels. The primary target population of UAPA in all her efforts include but not limited to the policy makers, government ministries like Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Industry, & Ministry of Education and Sports, and Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) and like-minded civil society organizations.
