Funded by the European Union in Uganda and implemented by adelphi, UGEFA has made significant strides in addressing the critical #financing needs of #green small and medium-sized enterprises (#SMEs) in #Uganda since its inception in 2020 📈 During the implementation of UGEFA, 206 enterprises received capacity building for accessing (debt) #finance. The UGEFA Green Finance Dialogue Forum 2024 featured a #GreenPioneers Panel Discussion, which enabled some of the leading green enterprises to share their vision 🌱💪 🗣️ Fred Ijjo, from FOB Consult talked about their ambitious goals in job creation and growth over the next years: “We tend to create new green jobs for women and youth, we also would like to sell our products not only in Uganda but across the world in the next 5 years” FOB Consult Ltd is dedicated to the production of bamboo-based building components as alternative material to promote affordable housing.
