Kobusinge Patricia reminds us that as we embark on #16DaysofActivism and beyond, it’s important that we believe survivors and offer them a safe platform to share their story without fear or shame. As we hold perpetrators accountable, we should provide support to survivors and help them all through the healing process. #EndViolenceAgainstGirlsAndWomen AfriYAN East and Southern Africa ( AfriYAN ESA) UNFPA East and Southern Africa Raising Teenagers Uganda: Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage FEMNET - African Women's Development and Communication Network FEMNET - African Women's Development and Communication Network Munnira-Afrikana Katongole Molly Fenton BCAh Women Deliver Womenful Voice

Ending Period Poverty and Improving Menstrual Hygiene
About us
Introducing Us for Girls, a female-founded and youth-led organization committed to improving menstrual hygiene and ending period poverty and stigma among adolescent girls and young women in marginalized communities in Uganda. With 1 in 4 Ugandan girls dropping out of school once they begin menstruating, Us for Girls has developed a range of affordable and sustainable period products, from reusable pads to educational pamphlets, with the aim to reach millions of girls through local and international partnerships. Our vision is to create a world free from menstrual stigma, where every girl can access period products and reach her fullest potential. We are actively seking partnerships with organizations that share our vision and are working towards empowering girls. Join us in our mission to end period poverty and stigma and make a lasting difference in the lives of young women and girls today!
