Quand j’ai passé la ligne d’arrivée, j’avais vraiment l’impression d’avoir gagné le Vendée, c’était magique et surtout, je n’aurais pas pu rêver d’un scénario plus haletant que celui-ci, Tanguy Le Turquais a émerveillé mon Vendée Globe avec la compétition qu’il a instaurée entre nous et ça m’a poussé dans des retranchements extraordinaires et ça rend la ligne d’arrivée encore plus belle. 16 minutes d’écart, dans l’histoire du Vendée Globe, je ne sais pas s’il y a des mano a mano qui ont duré aussi longtemps avec un si petit écart à l’arrivée, mais aujourd’hui, il n’y a pas qu’un seul vainqueur à dérives, il y en a deux. Sur l’échelle d’un Vendée Globe, 16 minutes, c’est comme si on avait passé la ligne ex-aequo. Un immense bravo à Tanguy et un immense merci d’avoir amené ce piment-là dans mon Vendée Globe.
