Despite ongoing efforts, there is a persistent need to educate the public and healthcare professionals about conditions such as hepatitis B, to promote early detection and treatment. Heart Month may be coming to an end but our goal to improve people’s lives through deeper understanding and empathy does not. #HeartMonth #EmpathyInHealthcare #PatientExperience Quote reads: I had my experience yesterday, and can tell you it has given me a completely new outlook on HF. I am going to change the way I prioritise this in our region.

Patients: Humans or Data? The Answer is Both. (Wait…hear me out!) Day 2 of the Patient Centricity & Collaboration Congress, listening to the inspiring Lara Bloom, President & CEO of the Ehlers-Danlos Society, remind us that patients are humans, not data, was a powerful moment. Just before that, the equally incredible Dr Sondra Butterworth_Community Psychologist. RareQoL CEO Researcher. Educator. Mentor and Coach shared a fantastically current quote (in this AI-powered era): “Patients are walking, talking data sets—just connect and download the information.” At first glance, these statements seem contradictory. But they actually share the same core message: 💗Understand your patients. 💗Humanise them. 💗Empathise with their lived experience. At A Life in a Day, we strive to do just that. Our experiences are built with real-world insights from patients, giving life science teams a deeper, more human understanding of the challenges, choices, and unmet needs patients and caregivers face every day. We are grateful to hear their stories to help translate this ‘human data’ into empathy-driven action. Because real impact starts with real understanding. P.S. Yes, I know the pink isn’t quite the right shade… branding police Alex Cull please be kind! 🎨😅 #PatientCentricity #HumanData #ALifeInADay #LivedExperience #EmpathyInHealthcare
