Many thanks to the RATTLEROW FARMS LIMITED team for the opportunity to update them on our latest research, RESPONSE range and management support to ease the transition to zinc-free. Plenty of discussion about how the zinc-free era presents as many opportunities as challenges.
Huge thank you to Dr Marian Scott and the team at A-one for delivering such an informative presentation yesterday evening. Creep feeding piglets in what is still a relatively new zinc-free era remains a hot topic of conversation, and it was great to get so many members of the Rattlerow team together to learn more about the ongoing research and development in this area. The removal of zinc from creep feed has certainly not been without it's challenges, but with change comes an opportunity to examine and reassess industry practices, and strive towards improvement and growth. #creepfeed #research #development #BritishPigIndustry

A-One Feeds to Sponsor Young NPA Annual Conference A-One Feeds will continue its long-standing partnership with the Young National Pig Association (YNPA) by sponsoring its upcoming Annual Conference. The event is being held on the 31st October, with the theme being “How do we make the pig industry sexy”. This year's speakers are Harriet Wilson, Partnerships Director at Meat Business Women, and Matt Casey, Head of NPD at Pilgrim's Europe Speaking of the sponsorship, Peter Bryant, Head of Sales and Marketing at A-One Feeds commented “We are delighted to be able to continue our long-term partnership with the YNPA. The members are the future of our industry, and as a company dedicated to supplying the pig industry for nearly 50 years, we are keen to support this and the wider YNPA programme. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank vice chairs Emma Wormington and Lee Thompson for all their efforts in organizing such a fantastic event.” Lee Thompson, vice-chair of the YNPA added “A-One Feeds has sponsored this event since 2010 and we are delighted they are involved again in 2024.
