📢 Join the Co-Action Project! 📢 Do you support or volunteer for groups/events for people with long-term health conditions? Want to make a difference in your community? We’re looking for six Community Peer Researchers to help us understand and improve support for people with long-term health conditions in Southampton, Portsmouth, or the Isle of Wight. What you’ll do: - Work with local communities, health & social care professionals, and volunteers - Explore what supports people with long-term conditions - Test ideas in a research study - Share your findings in a workshop in July 2025 No research experience is needed – full training can be provided! Role details: - Paid position: £25 per hour - Flexible hours: 70 hours (approx. 2 days/week) between March – July 2025 - Training starts: March 2025 We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially those with lived experience in: - Homelessness - The justice system - Armed forces - Disadvantaged areas 📩 Interested? Exciting Start for the Early Careers Improvers 🚀 Yesterday, we kicked off the first session of our Early Careers Improvers Special Interest Group - and what a fantastic start it was! This group is all about empowering staff in the early stages of their careers who are passionate about making a difference. It’s here to support personal and career development, build a peer network, and provide the tools to drive meaningful improvements that benefit both patients and staff. What participants can expect: 🔹 4 development days a year 🔹 Mentorship and coaching from experienced QI leaders 🔹 Explore improvement tools like research, evaluation, and audit 🔹 A supportive community focused on building leadership skills and confidence We’re excited to watch this special interest group grow and can’t wait for future sessions filled with new ideas and inspiration.
