“Clients expect strong performance from their assets. But they, and their children and grandchildren, are increasingly aware and concerned about global crises – from climate change to pandemics and wars – and are keen that their legacy be a contribution to the solution. The NextGen both inside our business and within our client base are a continued source of inspiration. Values-led, unafraid to challenge and to fight for the future, their rejection of the profit-at-any-cost model is testament to their collective strength of conviction and an example we can all learn from.” Paul Douglas, Managing Director of our Jersey office, explains how Accuro’s commitment to sustainable and value-led investment objectives has resulted in winning ‘Trust Company ESG Programme’ of the year. Thank you to the independent judging panel at WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards 2024 for recognising us in this category for the second year in a row. 🌍 In a world that is changing before our eyes, our responsibility to people and the planet has never been more important. 🏆 For the second year in a row this mission has been recognised as we were awarded ‘Trust Company ESG Programme’ at the WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards 2024 in Jersey last night. Our Jersey Managing Director Paul Douglas said: “This award will help raise awareness of our efforts both on Jersey and in the wider industry. Not only does it highlight our commitments and attract likeminded talent and clients, we believe that it can also be a lever for inspiration and systemic change within our professional networks.” Discover more: https://lnkd.in/epfmsBKG #AwardWinning #PositiveImpact #SustainableFinance #Wealth #DrivenByVision ClearView Financial Media

🎄✨ Tis the season…to get creative! ❄️ While the weather may have been frosty last week in Geneva, guests at our wreath making workshop broke the ice by bonding over some festive floristry. Sparkly foliage, metallic pinecones and cinnamon sticks were in abundance with some fabulous creations emerging by the end of the session. It was a surprisingly therapeutic experience for many, run under the expert guidance of Events by Loukia. This is a pivotal moment of change for global private clients – why? Mustafa Hussain, our London Managing Director, shares his 3 key takeaways from the Henley & Partners - The Firm of Global Citizens® ‘Non-Doms: should I stay or should I go’ conference he chaired yesterday 👇 📌 Transformation is afoot in the wake of the outcome of USA and UK elections, coupled with changes to tax regimes and other factors. 📌 Now more than ever, high-net-worth individuals and families are considering their place of residency, the structures through which they hold their assets and the needs and preferences of their families for education, real estate, location and lifestyle. 📌 It is clear that the UK having moved on to the “leavers” list (it has previously always been a place private clients moved to - not moved from) is evidence of the change that is happening. #nondoms #privatewealth #globalmobility

Our Managing Director for London Mustafa Hussain made a new acquaintance over the weekend 🐻…and while marmalade may not be on the menu, some important topics are at the Henley & Partners - The Firm of Global Citizens® ‘Should I stay or should I go’ conference chaired by Mustafa tomorrow. As you’ll have seen in the news, everyone’s favourite bear recently got a new British passport. Amongst other important deliberations such as marmalade production he also had to consider what feelings - if any - arose in obtaining a second citizenship in his place of residence. Henley & Partners - The Firm of Global Citizens® don’t have Peru on the menu for their Should I Stay Or Should I Go conference on Tuesday but resident non doms in London (just like the bear) certainly are. I look forward to chairing this timely event. All interested delegates and bears welcome.
