Join our Digital Assets Forum, on Wednesday 20th of November! This month the topic is "Final MiCA Preparations". The event starts at 4:30pm, and finishes at 6:00pm with drinks after, providing an excellent networking opportunity. This week, I had the privilege of hosting the Annual General Meeting for ACI UK, the Foreign Exchange Association. It was a fantastic event, bringing together professionals from across our industry to connect, reflect, and look ahead. We were honoured to welcome Dr. Tamás Dávid-Barrett from Trinity College, University of Oxford, as our guest speaker. A behavioural scientist with a unique perspective on human societies, Dr. Dávid-Barrett captivated the audience with his insights into the intricate dynamics of culturally complex societies. He explored how social networks evolve amid changes like falling fertility rates, urbanization, and migration, and revealed how these networks shift throughout the human life course. A huge thank you to all our members who attended and contributed to the lively discussions. Your engagement and support are what make our community strong, and we’re grateful for the commitment and collaboration you bring to ACI UK. I also want to extend heartfelt thanks to my fellow executive committee members, who give so much of their time voluntarily.
