We are appointing Professor Rachel McKendry as Executive Director of Discovery and Professor Charlotte Watts as Executive Director of Solutions. As Executive Director of Discovery, Rachel will bring together Wellcome’s world-leading Discovery Research programme, the Wellcome Sanger Institute, the Wellcome Leap Programme, and our work to advance data for science and health. As Executive Director of Solutions, Charlotte will oversee three transformative programmes - Climate and Health, Mental Health and Infectious Disease. Rachel and Charlotte are joining our recently appointed Chief Operating Officer Maggy Chan.
