It is our mission to help the UK move away from fossil fuels and into a sustainable future. Our sites produce biomethane, green CO2 and organic bio fertiliser. This can replace imported fuels, CO2 and chemical fertilisers with a greener local alternative. By supporting anaerobic digestion in your area, you can: 1. Help the UK reach its Net Zero targets 2. Support farmers, local industry and job creation 3. Secure the UK's energy supply from international pressures Learn more on our website: https://lnkd.in/dqQJJFYA

Unlocking the full potential of biomethane.
About us
Acorn Bioenergy is committed to decarbonising challenging sectors by unlocking the full potential of biomethane and green CO2 production in the UK. We plan to make an immediate impact by reducing transport, industry and agriculture CO2 emissions from 2024. Our projects will also support sustainable farming, giving farmers an additional revenue stream and access to valuable organic biofertilizer. By producing homegrown biogas, we can make the UK more resilient to international supply problems. We are a developer of anaerobic digestion sites and expect to become one of the leading biomethane and green CO2 producers in the UK. Our team of experienced professionals from the energy, engineering, and agricultural sectors take responsibility for the full scope of the project from development through to construction and operations. Acorn Bioenergy was acquired by a leading fund manager, Qualitas Energy, in September 2022 who are eager to accelerate the energy transition with renewable energy investments.

Did you know? Anaerobic digestion is a true zero-waste hero. This remarkable process not only generates renewable energy in the form of biogas but also produces a valuable byproduct: digestate. This natural fertiliser can be used to enrich soils, support crop growth, and boost agricultural productivity, creating a sustainable cycle that benefits both the environment and our food systems. #ZeroWasteHero #CircularAgriculture #BiogasBenefits #GreenFertiliser #SustainableCycle

Did you know? The anaerobic digestion process captures methane – a potent greenhouse gas that would otherwise escape into the atmosphere if organic waste were left to decompose in landfills. Instead, anaerobic digestion converts this methane into biogas, which can be used as a renewable energy source for electricity, heat, and even vehicle fuel. By turning waste into clean energy, we’re not only reducing our carbon footprint but also actively addressing climate change and building a more sustainable future for all. #MethaneToEnergy #CleanEnergyRevolution #WasteToPower #ClimateAction #SustainableFuture

Did you know? Biogas isn’t just for generating electricity – it offers an environmentally friendly option for cars, buses, and HGVs, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and our reliance on fossil fuels. With lower carbon emissions and a renewable source, biomethane is a powerful step toward a greener road ahead. #CleanTransport #BiogasRevolution #AnaerobicDigestion #GreenerRoads #RenewableFuel

Did you know? Anaerobic digestion turns farm waste management into a win-win. Not only can you generate energy, but you’re also contributing to a sustainable future for everyone. Anaerobic digestion presents an efficient solution to manage agricultural waste, turning a potential problem into an opportunity for resource recovery and energy production. #SustainableFarming #WasteToEnergy #GreenAgriculture #AnaerobicDigestion #FarmToFuture
