🎄✨ What a fantastic night we had on Saturday at Acorn's Christmas party! A huge thank you to our directors and especially Anastasia Kelly, for organising such an amazing evening! The night wouldn’t have been the same without the laughs from our two brilliant comedians and the live singer that had us up and dancing! 🎤🎶 It was the perfect way to celebrate a great year together as a team. Here’s to an incredible year ahead🥂✨ #ChristmasParty #TeamCelebration #FestiveFun #AcornOH #OccupationalHealth

Aligning People & Workspaces🤝 At Acorn Occupational Health, we understand that aligning employees’ capabilities with their job requirements is key to a safer, healthier, and more productive workplace. Our Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) help businesses make this alignment possible. Our FCAs use advanced Motion Capture technology to assess each employee's mobility, capability, and functional capacity. With insights from our assessments, we empower businesses to create workspaces tailored to employees’ physical abilities, promoting well-being, engagement, and efficiency. https://lnkd.in/eJAPDkw8 Benefits of FCAs - Support Management Referrals: Objective data on employees’ physical capacities aids decision-making and job suitability assessments. - Minimise Musculoskeletal Issues: Identify and address potential health risks early to reduce workplace injuries. - Enhance Safety Culture: Demonstrate your commitment to employee health, building trust and morale. - Reduce Sickness Absence Costs: Implement preventive interventions to lower the financial impact of absences. Let’s work together to support employee wellness, reduce risks, and foster a strong safety culture. 📞 Call us: 01260 277797 📧 Email: website@acornoh.co.uk #Ergonomics #OccupationalHealth #AcornOH #FunctionalCapacity

Men’s Health Month💙 November is Men’s Health Month, a time to raise awareness and educate ourselves on the health challenges men face. Did you know that men are statistically less likely to visit a doctor, often waiting until symptoms become severe? Raising awareness and encouraging regular health check-ups can make a big difference in preventing serious health issues. At Acorn Occupational Health, we’re here to help workplaces create environments where men feel empowered to address their health proactively. 🧠 Mental Health - Depression, anxiety, and stress affect men deeply, yet many go undiagnosed due to stigma. Offering mental health workshops and wellness action plans (WAPs) can encourage men to open up and seek the support they need. 🩺 Physical Health - Regular check-ups can catch health issues early. Encourage men in your team to stay on top of their health by having routine assessments and prioritising physical well-being. 👥 Support Systems - Men’s Health Month is a reminder for workplaces to foster open, safe spaces for discussing health and wellness. From peer support networks to listening services, there are many ways to build supportive communities. Follow us this month as we discuss ways to raise awareness around men’s health and share tips on creating a supportive workplace for all💪 #MensHealthMonth #MensHealthAwareness #AcornOH #OccupationalHealth

🌟Meet The Team🌟 Hi, I’m Chloe and I am the Operations and Office Co-Ordinator. I have worked at Acorn for 7 years this month. My favourite thing about working at Acorn is being a part of a close knit team that supports one another as the company continues to grow. I love how Acorn focuses on enhancing our learning to better our understanding and knowledge, and how I can bring that training to life whilst getting stuck into my role. Before working at Acorn, I went to university in Bristol and studied Forensic Science. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing stories, walking my dogs, and playing video games. Last year, I got married, and we recently bought a caravan to travel the country with our two dogs.
