EVENT | We hosted our first Yule Embroidery Workshop at Ad Gefrin under the watchful eye of Wendy and Stuart from Acle. EVENTS | Sports & Spirits When the Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club said they wanted to come to Ad Gefrin for a day away, how could we say no! We welcomed the Newcastle Falcons Forwards to enjoy a tour of Ad Gefrin and tasting of our spirits. They were then joined by 10 Juniors and 5 members of the Alnwick Rugby Women’s Team. EVENT | In partnership with Kielder Observatory Astronomical Society we have created a one-of-a-kind experience exploring the ties between #astronomy and the North East during the #AngloSaxon era The event, called Starcraft, will be combined with a guided whisky tasting to offer a 'memorable evening under the stars' It will take place on the evening of December 6 at Kielder Observatory. SUPPORT | No Farmers, No Food, No Future. Today we supported all Farmers not only of #Wooler, and the surrounding area, but for the whole of the UK. #Farming is at the heart of our rural community. We are rooted in this community through our co-founder Eileen Ferguson, whose father and grandfather were agricultural hauliers for over 100 years. We are proud to provide a source of income for five local farmers who supply us with our barley in order to make our whisky. Ad Gefrin’s whisky is the epitome of field to glass. #NoFarmersNoFood

Our Co-founders Alan & Eileen Ferguson were delighted to be shortlisted for the Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year Awards, in partnership with Rathbones Group Plc. The awards celebrated the passion and creativity of British entrepreneurs. Unfortunately we didn't win, however we were so thrilled to have been recognised amongst some passionate business owners and incredible businesses.
