SteriPlas plasma technology is an antibacterial topical treatment with clinical efficacy in treatment of chronic biofilm wound infection, diabetic foot ulcers, post-operative infections (LVAD drivelines, stoma, catheter, deep sternum), and skin conditions such as acne and actinic keratoses. As a topical antibacterial with a physical mode of action, bacterial resistance is unlikely to develop. It can therefore be considered as an alternative therapeutic to antibiotics helping to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR). New indications planned for post-operative treatment of implants to prevent infection. Plasma is often referred to as the 4th state of matter, the composition of plasma includes heat, OH radicals, ions, electrons, photons, UV light, and reactive species of oxygen and nitrogen. SteriPlas is a CE-marked approved Class IIb medical device with first commercial sales already achieved. Established relations with distributors in 10+ countries in Taiwan, Middle East and Europe.
