🌟 Celebrating Our First Permanent Team Member! 🌟 Though a bit overdue, I’m thrilled to officially announce that Phyoe Theingi Htun joined Aetherium Engineering at the beginning of September as a Junior Design Engineer! In just two short months, Phyoe has already made a significant impact, proving herself as a fast learner with a strong work ethic. Her adaptability and dedication have truly set a high standard. This role was highly competitive, with over 250 applicants. Our final interview round included four outstanding candidates – Maria Bercu, Mohamed Faizal Sheenu, and Baran Eryilmaz – each of whom demonstrated impressive talent and potential. I was so impressed by their abilities that I nearly expanded my team to include more than one new hire! Any engineering company would be lucky to have them. Phyoe really distinguished herself, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have her on the team. Looking forward to seeing her continued growth as we build Aetherium Engineering together!

Title: A Friendly Reminder to Recruiters: Please Read the Profile! Hi everyone, I wanted to share a recurring experience I've been having all year with some of the recruitment messages I've received. Often, these messages start with: "Hi Kenny, I have just read your profile on LinkedIn and think you would be a great fit for this role I am looking at..." While I appreciate the interest, it's quite evident that many of these messages come without actually reading my profile. If they had, they would see that I recently founded Aetherium Engineering and am currently focused on building and growing my company. Given that Aetherium Engineering operates on a contract basis(fixed price or hourly), I'm not completely against working with recruiters. In fact, I have staffing needs myself and might be able to provide multiple candidates for their clients from the small team I work with. However, the approach needs to be relevant and considerate of my current role and interests. It's understandable that recruiters are working hard to fill positions, but a personalized approach can go a long way. Taking a few minutes to understand my current role and aspirations would make a big difference. It’s not just about finding the right candidate; it’s about building a meaningful connection. Even if I were to consider new opportunities, starting our relationship on the right foot is crucial. A well-informed message shows respect for my time and efforts and reflects positively on the recruiter’s professionalism. So, a friendly reminder: if you’re reaching out to potential candidates, especially on platforms like LinkedIn, please take a moment to genuinely review their profiles.
