"I campaign for building bigger-scaled businesses to come out of Africa. Let's make our young people proud and become top employers." - Yasmin Kumi, AHC co-founder. The African job market is vastly underserved, with only 3 million formal jobs available each year.    As entrepreneurs, it's our duty to understand the impact of this challenge and create actionable plans to mitigate the problem. This is why our founder and the team at African Hidden Champions advocate for African businesses to scale up.    Our vision is to support the African Private Sector to compete in the global market.    #Africa #Africanbusinesses #Africanhiddenchampions #AHC We believe we can achieve this with your support and the support of our partners African Development Bank Group and DEG.

The world should be turning attention to Africa for investments now.    Chinezi Chijioke is a visionary in African education and entrepreneurship, the founder of Nova Pioneer, and a member of the African Hidden Champions Initiative. He highlights three key trends that make Africa a compelling destination for investors: Demographic Dividend, Entrepreneurial Spirit and Rising Consumer Power.    These factors combine to create a dynamic environment ripe for investment and growth. #InvestInAfrica #AfricanEntrepreneurship #EmergingMarkets #AfricanHiddenChampions   Which other factors could contribute to Africa's appeal to investors?

"It's very easy to spot gaps in the market. The real insight is plotting whether there is a market in the gap." - Bright Simons", CEO of Mpedigree, at Africa@Scale 2024.    This quote hits home for every entrepreneur and business leader. At our recently concluded Africa@scale Summit, this was one of the key conversations held.   While we often pride ourselves on identifying market gaps, Bright reminds us of a crucial truth: not every gap represents a viable business opportunity.   It's a powerful reminder that successful innovation isn't always about finding what's missing but understanding if there's genuine demand and willingness to pay for a solution. Many startups fail not because they didn't spot a gap, but because they didn't validate if that gap had a sustainable market.   As entrepreneurs, this insight is important for our journey to participate in the global economy.   #entrepreneurship #innovation #businessstrategy #marketresearch #startup #Africa@scale #AHC

We recently had the honour of visiting Kevian Kenya Limited, Kenya’s leading producer of bottled water and soft drinks—and what an inspiring experience it was! From their ingenious facilities to the lush expanse of Kevian Farms, every detail showcased their unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. We were particularly moved by their efforts to uplift local communities, proving that business success and social impact can go hand in hand. Kevian Farms is truly a cornerstone of Kenya’s economic growth and a shining example of excellence. They're one of Kenya's largest family-run businesses, paving the way. Their journey is nothing short of remarkable, and as part of our initiative, we’re proud to celebrate their success. #AHC #Africaatscale #Africa #Kevianfoods #Keviankenya #Africanbusiness #Africansuccess
