AIRTO has such an abundance of fantastic people involved who lead some of the UK's most amazing organisations advancing science and innovation across the breadth of our economy. Here are two of those people, pictured on Friday, with 'the baton' as Chair of AIRTO being passed from Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult's outgoing CEO, Andrew Jamieson (pictured left) to FRAUNHOFER UK RESEARCH LIMITED's CEO, Simon Andrews (pictured right). We are hugely appreciative to Andrew for all he has done as Chair and wish him all the very best in his next chapter! We are sad to see him leave us, but are delighted to have Simon Andrews take on the role!

Following Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult's announcement that its CEO Andrew Jamieson will step down in 2024, AIRTO wishes to congratulate Andrew on his outstanding contributions to innovation in the offshore renewable energy sector, and his exceptional dedication in leading the organisation over the past 12 years. We are pleased that Andrew will continue to serve the AIRTO Board as its Chair for the duration of his time leading the ORE Catapult. In due course, AIRTO will instigate a succession planning process to ensure a smooth transition.
