"I had breast cancer, and when I asked point blank what I could I do to stay cancer free, I was not told that there was any reason not to drink." 🎙️In our latest podcast, Tabbin Almond discusses how she wants to raise awareness that alcohol causes cancer: https://lnkd.in/eSBcmejJ

Adding #AlcoholFree beer to lunchtime meal deals does nothing to encourage substitution for alcoholic alternatives as generally, the days of lunchtime drinking are thankfully long gone. But it may help normalise alcohol products in these settings. The Alcohol Health Alliance UK has specifically warned against encouraging or marketing consumption of #NoLo products in settings where alcoholic beverages are not normally consumed. Alcohol free products being consumed at office desks also comes with the risk of triggering staff members who may be in recovery from an alcohol problem - increasing the number of spaces where alcohol products are visible. https://lnkd.in/dv2NUYsU
