Our sessions aren’t just about getting on the water and rowing. Our pupils learn the discipline of looking after equipment - which includes washing down the boats at the end of a session. Teamwork at its finest!

About us
All Aboard Youth Rowing (formerly known as Warrington Youth Rowing) is an initiative designed to introduce a wide range of young people to the sport of rowing. These youngsters would previously have imagined rowing to be an elitist sport and not accessible to them. One of our aims is to open up the sport of rowing and shed its elitist image. Our vision is to help to bring out the best in the young people on our programme, helping them develop a whole range of skills which will serve them in their future, as well as improving self-esteem, self-confidence, resilience and life skills. Our first site was in Warrington, hence the name but we now have Mersey Youth Rowing and Northwich Youth Rowing and we have further plans for expansion.

WOW WHAT A DAY! 400 young people together to compete on rowing machines for their school. And every single one put their all into it. Huge thanks to everyone who helped today and to our amazing supporters at British Rowing, Concept 2 and Henley Royal Regatta Charitable Trust.
