This week, our fantastic pub teams took part in an engaging and insightful training session with Patrick Howley at 'So lets Talk.' This was the groups third and final session with Paddy and it focused on financial health. We looked into ways in which the teams can improve their relationship with money and savings, whilst looking at impulse spending and creating better habit formations. We are looking forward to checking in with the teams soon, to see how these newly implemented tricks have helped them with their finances! Last Thursday, Jess from our People team attended the CIPD annual conference and exhibition at the Manchester Central Convention Complex. The CIPD conference brings together HR and people professionals from across the UK to explore the latest insights, trends and innovations in the industry. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experts, gain fresh perspective and network with peers. Our managers recently attended a session with Sarah From Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace which looked into conversations surrounding the menopause and how we can help support people going through it. Did you know that 80% of people going through the menopause are in work? 10% of people have left work due to their symptoms? And 46% of people did not disclose they were struggling, as they were worried it would be perceived negatively.
