This was a really challenging trip for a number of reasons. During the trip, the aircraft develpoped an ignition start issue which meant it would only start from cold but would not start after running the left engine. This left is with the option of either shipping parts and an engineer, or continuing to fly one leg per day from UAE onwards which also caused a major logistical headache. Due to our network of contacts built up over many years, we really had to push our limits of resourcefullness in order to bring about a positive outcome and limit the financial additional exposure for the client.
