This week some of our team attended the Running Industry Alliance (RIA) & The Running Conference (TRC) Conference, which this year joined forces with the Triathlon Industry Conference for the first time. Our director, Tim Lloyd had the honour of participating in both conferences, sitting on a panel for the Triathlon conference and delivering his presentation, Sustainability Matters at the Running conference. He shared how we’re leading the charge in hosting responsible events, tackling challenges, and staying committed to our environmental initiatives despite the occasional pushback. 🌱💪 A huge thank you to our amazing event partners, Superfeet Europe and High5 Sports Nutrition, for their incredible support of our environmental initiatives over the past few years. 🌱💚 Well done to Rebecca (Becs) Richardson the entire team—it was such a pleasure to be involved. 🏆 Triathlon Cymru - 2024 Inclusivity Award Winner 🏆 We are beyond proud to have received the 2024 Inclusivity Award from Welsh Triathlon for our events this year! While every award is an honour, this one holds a special place in our hearts. Creating events that are accessible to everyone is incredibly important to us, and we’ll always strive to find ways to make this possible. In 2023, we had the privilege of welcoming Pete to the Llandudno Triathlon. His words have stayed with us ever since: "The Llandudno Triathlon allowed me to prove to myself that I can achieve anything and that my spinal cord injury will not hold me back! So, please thank everyone involved—they didn’t just help me compete in a race; they’ve helped me regain my life!” To everyone who joins us, supports us, and inspires us—thank you for making moments like this possible. Together, we’re proving that sport truly is for everyone. 💙

We're proud that our community have planted & protected thousands of trees this year, through donations totalling more than £1800. Given the carbon footprint of attending events, we offer our participants the option to do something positive to tackle climate change by 'planting' trees. Unlike offsetting schemes, we work with the charity Size of Wales I Maint Cymru, directly supporting communities and Indigenous Peoples to protect tropical rainforests. The 2024 donations from our events will be spent on tree growing and forest protection in tropical regions of the world. NEW Event for 2025 🏊 🚴♂️ 🏃♂️ While we’re sad to bid farewell to the iconic Harlech Triathlon, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new event to kick off our 2025 Triathlon season: The Eirias Triathlon & Duathlon! Set in the stunning Eirias Park, this event will feature a Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon, utilising the fantastic facilities at Colwyn Leisure Centre, including their newly refurbished athletics track for an unforgettable finish line.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 We're thrilled to announce our charity partnership with Alder Hey Children’s Charity for 2025! 💙 Alder Hey Children’s Hospital provides life-changing care to 450,000 babies, children, and young people each year, including over 3,257 brave kids from North Wales in 2023. Really exciting news for us in 2025.....🏃♂️⛰🏃♀️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 XTERRA Trail Run World Championship to be Held in Eryri in 2025 "We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing a major trail running event to Wales, especially to my hometown of Llanberis," said Tim Lloyd, Managing Director of Always Aim High Events." As a local event organiser, it is immensely important for us to showcase the heritage, language and culture of our region, as well as bringing a tremendous economic boost to the local community and businesses. This event, as with all our events, provides the perfect opportunity”.
