In the third installment of ‘AMCL’s Perspectives’ series, Kristen Westall, AMCL’s Asset Investment Planning Global Service Line Lead offers a point of view on: 🔍 ‘What are the top-ten lessons learned from Asset Investment Planning (AIP) systems implementations projects?’ The paper discusses some of the common pitfalls to avoid and key opportunities to increase the success when infrastructure organizations are embarking upon a technology-enabled Asset Investment Planning business improvement initiative. The paper outlines the functional components and key integration points of leading AIP technology solutions and explores some common implementation strategies to de-risk projects while still delivering the step-change improvement many organizations are seeking. Kris focusses on ten key observations from AIP systems implementation projects and highlights the consequences and implications of each point. He then concludes with 5-key things to 'get right'. Future topics in the Asset Investment Planning series will include: 👁️🗨️ ‘A comparison of early and later generation approaches to Asset Investment Planning’ 👁️🗨️ ‘What data and information does your organisation really need to drive confident investment decision making?’ If you would like to see a particular asset management topic area covered in a future ‘AMCL Perspectives’ in the future, please do get in touch with Kristen Westall directly. ☁ You can download the latest edition, here: https://lnkd.in/eRJpjRuV #AMCL #AIP #AssetInvestmentPlanning #Infrastructure #AssetManagement #ThoughtLeaders #AIPTechnologySolutions #SystemsImplementationProjects
