Supported by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and directed by Pacific Ocean Energy Trust, the U.S. TEAMER - Testing Expertise and Access for Marine Energy Research program accelerates the viability of #marine #renewables by providing access to the nation’s best facilities and expertise. As a TEAMER facility, ABS has been selected to support Hawaii Ocean Power Solutions LLC’s Halona Oscillating Water Column Wave Energy Converter Pilot Demonstration. ABS will conduct a New Technology Qualification evaluation of the proposed design and, if appropriate, will issue a statement of maturity letter on the concept verification stage for the technology.
