🆕 Press Release 🆕 ABS Delivers Synthetic Fuels and Nuclear Power Reports for the European Maritime Safety Agency   https://lnkd.in/gTPRn9MA   The European Maritime Safety Agency has published the final two reports in a series of six, focused on alternative fuels and #decarbonization technologies. The reports were contracted from a consortium led by ABS, which includes CE Delft, Arcsilea and Texas A&M University.

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the ABS India National Committee meeting, led by ABS Vice President, Regional Business Development, South Pacific Region Arnab Ghosh and The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. Director (Liner and Passenger Services) Rear Admiral Jaswinder Singh (Retd.). The discussions underscored the remarkable growth and immense potential of India’s #maritime sector. India has emerged as a key hub for ship management companies. Emphasizing skill development and capacity building was a key aspect of the discussions. Ensuring a steady supply of qualified professionals is vital for sustaining the sector’s growth.   ABS has been involved in the Indian maritime sector since 1952 and is proud to play a crucial role in supporting its growth. As a TEAMER facility, ABS has been selected to support Hawaii Ocean Power Solutions LLC’s Halona Oscillating Water Column Wave Energy Converter Pilot Demonstration. ABS will conduct a New Technology Qualification evaluation of the proposed design and, if appropriate, will issue a statement of maturity letter on the concept verification stage for the technology. The ABS team leading this project includes Jude Tomdio, ABS Managing Principal Engineer, Sue Wang, ABS Technology Manager, and Lauren Sparks, ABS Project Manager.
