Palestinian children like others across the globe deserve to enjoy a childhood filled with play, learning, and hope 📖⚽✨ This is the crux of the ‘Shofoo bi Oyouni’ (See Through My Eyes) campaign we are joining with partners at Moving Minds Alliance. On average more than 10 children per day have lost one or both legs since October 2023 (Save the Children). The crisis has created an unprecedented number of civilian amputees, with 70-80% of hospital admissions resulting in lost limbs or spinal cord injuries. Yet, amid the chaos, #GazaChildren spirits remain unbroken 💛 Join us to amplify our message of an immediate ceasefire, protection of children’s rights and investment in long-term mental health and psychological support programs for children and caregivers, amongst others : https://bit.ly/4g2XoM7 #ShofoobiOyouni #VoicesofGaza #ECDinEmergencies #amnahealing #PalestineDay

Education is a vital shield for children in crisis, fostering resilience and hope 📖✏️ In Gaza, despite over 400 schools damaged, the spirit of learning endures. Displaced children in Gaza still dream of completing their education. This resilience echoes throughout Gaza, where the literacy rate stands at an impressive 97%. The current crisis has set back education by up to 5 years, yet the unwavering commitment of Palestinian educators and students shines through ✨ This #PalestineDay we are joining hands with PNECD, Arab Network for Early Childhood ANECD and Juzoor for Health and Social Development to spotlight the dreams and ambitions of Palestinian children and their fundamental right to a childhood of play, learning and hope 💛 👉 Learn more about #ShofoobiOyouni campaign : https://bit.ly/4g2XoM7 #ChildrenofGaza #VoicesOfGaza #PalestineDay #amnahealing

Ceasefire in Lebanon: Hope for Healing 💛 We are relieved by the news of a ceasefire in Lebanon, offering much needed respite to partners, colleagues and communities affected by the conflict. However, we know that even after violence pauses, scars remain. The impact of conflict on mental health and well-being is profound and enduring, and the road to recovery requires sustained effort and care. At Amna, we know that healing goes beyond the end of conflict. It involves rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and caring for the emotional wounds left behind ❤️🩹 Together with our partners, we are committed to providing trauma-informed mental health and psychosocial support to those affected by this crisis. 👉Join us in supporting people in Lebanon in their journey towards healing: https://ow.ly/7ZnR50UhyS3

Our partner Egna Legna Besidet is courageously supporting displaced migrant workers in Lebanon many of whom have been abandoned and left without vital resources 💛 ▶️ Facing big challenges (few safe spaces, limited funding, and no access to government shelters) many migrant workers are alone, dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. ▶️ Community spaces are often repurposed for emergency response, leaving even fewer options. 💬 A volunteer shares: “Emergency shelters only serve Lebanese citizens. Many migrant workers have been left behind. We’re doing all we can, but we’re underfunded and need support to reach everyone.” 💛 Despite challenges, Egna Legna are trying their best to provide essential mental health support, create safe spaces, arrange therapy, and advocate for secure shelters where migrant workers can access the care they need. 👉 Your support can help us break down these barriers.
