The Amplify Goods Quiet Changemakers Programme invests in the mental health and well-being of individuals working tirelessly in social impact and climate action. By providing tailored support like activities, mentoring, and self-care resources, the programme helps changemakers build resilience, refocus their purpose, and amplify their impact on communities and the planet. One of our first Quiet Changemakers currently taking part is Stacy Bradley 🚮, whose journey in social impact began with a strong desire to create safer, cleaner, and more inclusive communities. She runs two social enterprises, Transforming Local Communities CIC, which hosts community-led litter-picking events, encouraging community cohesion and environmental awareness and Safe at Home CIC., which provides free CCTV and solar lighting installations to individuals experiencing post-separation abuse. Stacy says, “The biggest challenge [working in social impact] has been working within financial constraints. Funding is often very competitive, which adds pressure when addressing urgent community needs. Helping some of the most vulnerable people in the community can also be emotionally challenging, as their situations can be deeply emotive and sometimes triggering.” “The Quiet Changemakers programme has provided enriching experiences, like the beekeeping session, that allowed me to pause and reconnect with nature. These moments give me fresh perspectives, helping me approach my work with renewed creativity and insight. The programme has reminded me of the importance of personal well-being in creating sustainable impact.” Do you know a Quiet Changemaker? This Social Enterprise Day, we’re proud to stand among a global movement of businesses that put people and planet first. 💚 Our mission goes beyond creating premium products — we’re here to create opportunities, foster equity, and reduce environmental impact in everything we do. Here’s how we’re making a difference: 👉 We provide meaningful paid work for individuals facing barriers to work, including those who are experiencing homelessness. 👉 From refillable glass bottles to plastic-free packaging, we design for circularity and work towards a waste-free future. 👉 At least 50% of our profits go toward mental health initiatives, community projects, and rewilding efforts across the UK. Social enterprises like ours show that business can be a force for good, driving positive change for people and the planet. Today, we celebrate the innovators, changemakers, and trailblazers who prove that profit and purpose can go hand in hand. 💡 Want to learn more? We’re focused on supporting Quiet Changemakers—those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to drive positive change. 🌱💪 One of those changemakers is Stacy Bradley 🚮. From her work supporting survivors of harassment to organising nearly 100 community litter pickups, she embodies the spirit of creating grassroots change. Often, for people on the frontlines of social change, their own wellbeing is the lowest priority, putting them at risk of burnout. The Quiet Changemakers programme aims to help them receive the support they need through coaching, counselling, nature activities and other services, enabling them to continue their vital work with greater resilience and effectiveness. Through the Amplify Goods Quiet Changemaker programme, Stacy has taken essential time to reconnect with nature and find renewed inspiration to continue her impactful work in the community. Thank you, Stacy, for reminding us that personal resilience and wellbeing is part of making impactful social change! 📧 Do you know someone making a difference in the community? Email hello[@]amplifygoods.org to tell us about the work they're doing. We have limited spots on the Quiet Changemakers programme, but we also love amplifying the amazing impact of community projects. #QuietChangemakers #SocialImpact #Burnout #CommunityBuilding #MentalHealth #SustainableImpact #PeopleFirst #AmplifyGoods
