Great to see Analytics Engines own Michael McCloskey presenting progress from the Sales and Scale working group at the Software NI AGM yesterday. Some excellent progress across the board and really ambitious vision being driven by Neil Hutcheson, Mark McCormack, and the rest of the board. A big thanks to Stephen McKeown for hosting us at the Allstate offices. It was great to hear from Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly BL MLA and Minister Aisling Reilly on the importance of the software industry to Northern Ireland and the recognition of how critical data and AI will be to the future of government.

🚀 AI Strategy in Action 🚀 We had a productive session at our AI Strategy Workshop today at Catalyst, where start-ups and scale-ups came together to explore the role of AI in business. The room was buzzing with innovation 💡 as we saw the synergy of ideas flow across sectors, showcasing how AI’s impact spans industries in exciting ways. A standout moment was how participants' confidence evolved throughout the workshop 📈. What started as a modest understanding of AI quickly grew into deeper insights as the session unfolded, revealing that many knew more than they initially thought. This shift was a powerful reminder of how knowledge and ideas can expand in real-time when we collaborate and share 🤝. A huge thank you to all the participants for their insights and energy – your ideas are shaping the next wave of AI-driven growth 🌱. Special thanks to Roddy O'Flaherty for discussing how the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund is supporting AI adoption among SMEs across Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. The Analytics Engines team (Jordan McDonald, Callum Mullan-Young, and Jamie Conlon.) had a blast hosting such a forward-thinking event 🔮. #AI #Innovation #Strategy #Collaboration #Startups #TechLeadership

I’m thrilled to see this rewarding project I’ve been worked on at Analytics Engines being shared. The innovative AI-driven solution we're building leverages LLM technology to streamline and enhance local councils’ planning consultations. The tool transforms diverse inputs into dynamic summaries and key insights that flexibly meet planners’ needs, significantly reducing the manual effort involved and allowing them to focus their time where it really matters. It’s been an absolute pleasure collaborating with Alan Dooley and Theresa Cloonan alongside their planning teams, to develop a truly human-centric solution. A big shout-out to my colleagues Stephen Reynolds and Gavin Fitzpatrick for their invaluable expertise and contributions. Working with this team has made tackling such a challenging project all the more enjoyable! Seeing how responsible AI can simplify complex processes while enhancing public services has been incredibly fulfilling. I’m excited to see how this solution continues to evolve and support planners across Ireland in the future!
Great to see some of our fantastic customers, Alan from Limerick City and County Council and Theresa from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council sharing their experience with the Analytics Engines team on an exciting and innovative AI tool that we are building with the help of Microsoft.
