#2024Reflections Our final highlight, takes us all the way back to the beginning of the year, when our team attended a series of careers events to help raise awareness amongst young people for all that our industry has to offer, and an insight into the many different career paths and job opportunities. We were delighted to attend the events in support of the Skills Group of Solar Taskforce UK and its aim to encourage more people into the solar industry.   Educating and inspiring the next generation is something we are committed to at Anesco, and our team worked really hard to create engaging and meaningful content to share with attendees.   By igniting curiosity in the next generation, we hope to empower them to shape a greener world and leave a lasting legacy. #greencareers #solarindustry #solarcareers

With half of our workforce being below the age of 35, last summer we officially launched the Anesco Young Professionals Network (YPN) - an initiative sponsored by our CEO Hildagarde McCarville. The network's mission is to empower younger team members to drive the transition to a sustainable future through engagement, representation and innovation. Our annual Anesco Awards were introduced to recognise and celebrate the contribution of team members who live and breathe our values. They are presented in six main categories, which are based around our core company values of focus, responsibility, safety, innovation, teamwork and championing the low carbon agenda. Representing our #WeAreOneTeam value is the People’s Choice award, which is voted for by staff. Special Recognition awards are also handed out to those who have gone above and beyond.
