  • 🚨 UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION EXPOSES HORRIFIC ANIMAL ABUSE AT INNOVIS 🚨 Our latest undercover investigation reveals systemic abuse at Innovis’ Burgh Castle boar farm, with over 300 violent strikes captured on camera. 🐷 Claire Palmer, Director of Animal Justice Project, said: “Pigs were struck, stabbed, and intimidated daily. Suspensions are not enough—we demand immediate dismissals and prosecutions. If these were dogs, action would have been swift and severe.” https://lnkd.in/eVjJ5whc #JusticeForPigs #RespectAllLife #ProjectPig

  • ❗ VET CONDEMNS INNOVIS ABUSE Dr Alice Brough, after reviewing our investigative footage, has given a damning statement against the abuse we filmed at Innovis in Norfolk. "The handling of animals on this unit is appalling. Workers stab boars in the face and sides with pitchforks, hit them with rods, kick them in the face and testes, and swing the metal gates with force into their heads. Attempting to move them by pulling their tails and yelling verbal abuse shows clear disdain, and all of this indicates a complete disregard for their sentience and welfare. Pigs are verbally and physically abused, appear to be neglected, and dosed with off-label drugs to the point of severe side effects and possibly even death. The force used in handling these animals, who show no aggression towards workers, is beyond excessive, and employs the use of inappropriate tools as weapons to inflict pain and fear." #ProjectPig #JusticeForPigs #RespectAllLife

Claire Palmer, Director of AJP, stated: "Pigs beaten, stabbed, and terrorised—it’s a failure of authorities that the burden falls on activists to expose these horrors. ❗ HAPPENING RIGHT NOW We are inside Cambridge Tesco carrying out a sit-in to highlight the nine million turkeys who are killed every year in the UK, most of which for Christmas. Let’s show the world that turkeys are not a meal – they're gentle, affectionate beings who form bonds, protect their young, and deserve freedom! It’s time to choose compassion; it’s time to leave animals off your plate and to choose vegan. Will you be their Christmas miracle? 🦃💔 #RespectAllLife #MakeTheConnection #Turkeys

  • 🐷 PIGS FACE UNTOLD ATROCITIES ON FARMS 🐷 Despite what you may see in advertisements, only 3-4% of pigs are kept outdoors their entire lives before being slaughtered. Approximately 40% of sows – female pigs – are kept outdoors, where they give birth in small huts or arcs. Once their piglets are taken away at just 4-6 weeks old, the vast majority are fattened in grim indoor sheds, before being slaughtered at around five months old. The mothers remain in this cycle until the farmers consider them as ‘cull sows’ (when their bodies are exhausted, like a ‘spent’ dairy cow) – at this point they will be killed just like their babies. The remaining 60% of sows are confined indoors, giving birth in farrowing crates, which greatly restrict their movements. These crates are so small that the mothers can only stand up and lay down. They can be in these crates for many weeks at a time, and multiple times a year. Piglets endure horrific mutilations including having their tails cut off and their teeth grinded down, all before they reach just one week old. They are born into a nightmare which persists until the day they are tragically taken to the slaughterhouse. Boars – male pigs – don’t have it much better. On breeding farms, boars can be kept indoors in concrete pens for years at a time, having their semen ‘collected’ from them until their bodies can no longer keep up with the industry’s demands where they, too, will be killed. Very few pigs have the opportunity to display their natural behaviours like foraging, digging, wallowing and exploring. Nearly all pigs have their innate instincts restricted through mutilations, confinement, being abused or sexually exploited. We must push for an end to pig farming, and a future where pigs have the right to exist without being used. www.projectpig.org #RespectAllLife #JusticeForPigs

  • 🚨 SHOCKING CRUELTY AT RED TRACTOR-APPROVED BOAR FARM EXPOSED 🚨 Animal Justice Project has revealed harrowing footage from Innovis’ Gene Transfer Centre (GTC) in Norfolk, where boars are subjected to systemic abuse and neglect. 📹 Disturbing findings from the 800-hour investigation include: - Animals struck over 300 times with pipes and paddles - Boars left untreated for severe lameness and injuries. - Physical and verbal abuse, including homophobic insults. - Filthy, unhygienic pens with urine and faeces build-up. - Boars confined to concrete pens for years, showing signs of stress and frustration. Despite being Red Tractor-certified, the farm failed to meet even the most basic standards, with multiple breaches of the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and DEFRA codes. 🐷 Claire Palmer, Director of Animal Justice Project, called for urgent action: “The cruelty documented here highlights a failing system that turns a blind eye to animal suffering. The industry’s ‘high welfare’ claims are a façade.” 📢 This investigation exposes not just Innovis but a systemic failure in the UK farming industry, where inspections are infrequent and ‘welfare’ standards are overlooked. 👉 Support our work: https://lnkd.in/eE68BWtD https://lnkd.in/epJCAGP4 #ProjectPig #Vegan #AnimalRights

  • CEO FOR 20 YEARS, BUT HE’S CLAIMING IGNORANCE? 🤔 Dewi Jones is the Founder and CEO of Innovis, overseeing the entire company. Yet, he denies any responsibility for the torrent of abuses we filmed at the GTC East Innovis site in Norfolk. Jones, to the Independent: “The video content is shocking and wholly unacceptable. We are appalled.” Staff stabbed boars with pitchforks, kicked them in the face and testes and slapped them with plastic piping, all whilst yelling and swearing. Many boars were severely lame, unable to bear weight on all four legs. All of the boars were imprisoned in concrete pens, with no enrichment, forced to chew on bars or concrete to keep themselves stimulated. How can all of this happen under the nose of the CEO, yet he claims no part in it? How can you run a company and not even know what your staff are doing to these innocent animals? It’s diabolical!
