Uchafbwyntiau'r digwyddiad / Event Highlights: Flintshire Tender Readiness Workshop ✍️ (Bi-lingual post, Scroll for English translation) Yn ddiweddar, cynhaliodd tîm Cronfa Sir y Fflint eu hail ddigwyddiad “Barod i Dendro” a’r tro hwn yng Ngwesty Parc Beaufort ger yr Wyddgrug. Yn dilyn llwyddiant y digwyddiad cyntaf yng Ngholeg Cambria, bu’r tîm yn cydweithio â Chyngor Sir y Fflint a Cyngor Sir Ddinbych, Busnes Cymru, Litegreen Ltd a Pathway to Carbon Zero i baratoi busnesau ar gyfer cyflwyno ceisiadau tendro â hyder. Daeth nifer dda i’r digwyddiad - tua 40 i gyd. Mae cryn dipyn o gyfleoedd ar gael i fusnesau Cymru i ymgeisio am gytundebau’r sector cyhoeddus ond yn aml iawn nid yw busnesau’n ymwybodol o’u bodolaeth neu’n ystyried eu hunain yn rhy fach i fedru gyflawni’r gwaith. Ein gobaith yw y bydd y digwyddiadau hyn yn taflu goleuni ar y cyfleoedd sydd ar gael yn ogystal â rhoi hyder i fusnesau bach a chanolig i fynd amdani. _ The Flintshire Fund team recently held their second Tender Readiness event, this time at Beaufort Park Hotel near Mold. After a successful debut event at Coleg Cambria, the team collaborated with Flintshire Council and Denbighshire County Council, Business Wales, Litegreen Ltd and Pathway to Carbon Zero to empower businesses to confidently apply for tender contracts. The event was well attended with approximately 40 people attending. There are lots of public sector contract opportunities in Wales for Welsh businesses to win, but often businesses do not know they are available or think they are too small to deliver the work. This project has been about so much more than just advice—it’s been about creating opportunities, building connections, and supporting local businesses. It’s been a privilege to see these businesses grow and take new steps toward their goals. Cwis Nadolig Staff | Staff Christmas Quiz! 🎄 (Bi-lingual post, English under Welsh) Wythnos ddiwethaf, caewyd y cliniaduron a chodwyd y pensilau ar gyfer cymryd rhan mewn cwis a drefnwyd gan Kevin, ein Rheolwr Datblygu Busnes, yn cynnwys 30 o gwestiynau crafu pen. Yn dilyn thema o’r gyfres deledu Gavin a Stacey wedi’i lleoli yn Y Bari, cawsom gwestiynau’n cwmpasu gwybodaeth gyffredinol, daearyddiaeth, hanes y byd, iaith, llenyddiaeth, celf a gwleidyddiaeth. (Diolch Denise). _ Last week we closed our laptops and picked up our pens to turn quiz wizards, while Business Development Manager, Kevin put on his quizmaster hat to deliver 30 gruelling questions. From general knowledge, world geography and history to language, literature, art and politics. Each category included questions following the theme of the popular Barry-based TV show, Gavin and Stacey. With the comedy show returning for the last time this Christmas, we had to do them proud. Unfortunately, most of us could do with brushing up on our Marco's and Doris's. Thankfully not all was lost, with Business Advisor, Denise, scoring a respectable 23/30! - In true sportspersonship style, Denise kindly shared her prize of chocolate Celebrations with the rest of the team.
