Situated across two floors, the showroom is a light, inviting space, where exposed brickwork provides the perfect backdrop for an endless array of iconic designs. It’s a destination that truly showcases the innovation and timeless appeal of Vitra’s furniture.🌟 First up, the Eames Aluminium Chair, an undeniable statement piece that’s long been a client favourite. We couldn’t help but pause to admire the Soft Pad Eames Chair, too. Perfectly suited for management areas, its adjustable tilt mechanism and plush upholstery deliver the comfort that executive spaces demand. Next, we explored the Anagram Sofa, a truly flexible modular system. Whether it’s a cosy lounge space or a reconfigurable layout for larger gatherings, Anagram adapts effortlessly. With options to add backrests, side panels, or even attachable tables, it’s designed to evolve with its owner’s needs—a sofa system for the ever-changing demands of modern living.🛋️ Moving into the conference area, we discovered the MedaMorph Table system. Developed with Alberto Meda, this table’s modular design lets you customize it into almost any size or shape. From sleek visitor tables to expansive boardroom setups.🖋️ We couldn’t leave without trying out the Mikado Armchair—and it didn’t disappoint! A Behind-the-Scenes Adventure at Verco. 🏭✨ Earlier this week, we swapped desks for a deep dive into the world of furniture craftsmanship at Verco’s factory in High Wycombe—where they’ve been innovating and creating since the 1920's. 🛠️ When we arrived, we got a fascinating look at the craftsmanship and processes behind Verco’s furniture. One of the highlights was seeing the Vector Q25 cutting machine in action, cutting fabric with precision while minimising waste and improving efficiency. We also learned about the Lush Sofa, a modular design with deep web-sprung seats, plush upholstery, and a modern aesthetic—perfect for contemporary spaces. 🛋️✨ We wandered through Verco’s two stunning showrooms, where we got hands-on with some of their iconic designs: 👉 Martin Bench Tables—Clean and simple in design, these tables offer elegance with practicality. With customisable central cable access channels available in materials like Perspex, fabric, or wood veneer, they add both functionality and a touch of personality to any collaborative workspace. 👉 DNA Desks—A seamless blend of style and ergonomics, these desks are designed for high-performance environments. Featuring a sleek leg frame and customisable configurations. 👉 Emma Chair—This innovative, hybrid task chair is designed to adapt to the ever-evolving needs of the modern workplace. From focused individual tasks to relaxed collaboration, Emma provides exceptional support, helping users maintain natural balance and comfort throughout the workday. 👉 Flux Chair—A stylish and contemporary occasional task chair, ideal for hot desks, meeting rooms, and conference spaces. The top floor even includes an outdoor terrace - a refreshing touch that brings the outdoors in. 🌿 During our tour, we explored some standout pieces, each designed to enhance modern workspaces in unique ways: The Private Sofa 🛋 provides privacy without partitioning, thanks to its high screen walls. With it's adjustable height and multifunctional design (including power integration), it's ideal for both focus and informal meetings - a versatile solution for any workspace! The Ekko Collection 🪑 seamlessly fits into today's modern offices, blending clean, sharp lines with plush, ergonomic cushioning that mirrors the natural curved of the body. Designed by Boris Berlin, this sofa elevates any reception area, combining comfort and precision. The Gab Lounge Chair 🛠 is a nod to Danish Modernism, interpreted with a contemporary flair by designer Dennis Marquart.
