  • We're pleased to share a new resource to help our customers adapt to the recent 2024/25 apprenticeship funding rules changes related to Functional Skills. 👉 A guide for Aptem Apprentice customers: Implementing new apprenticeship Functional Skills rules for existing learners: https://lnkd.in/e4q-u8aC   Key information: - The changes affect apprentices aged 19 and over at the start of their programme, as passing level 2 Functional Skills courses in maths and English to complete their apprenticeship is no longer a requirement. - Providers must schedule a meeting with both the apprentice and their employer to discuss their options for continuing Functional Skills training. This meeting must take place by 1 April 2025. Our guide includes step-by-step instructions to:  ✅ Identify affected learners using Aptem’s PowerBI funding report. ✅ Review options with apprentices and employers (includes a Functional Skills decision meeting template).  ✅ Withdraw or continue functional skills training while ensuring compliance. ✅ Update training plans and documentation in line with the new rules.
