🎄 The Arden Team have been getting into the Christmas spirit for our annual festive fundraiser. 🎄 Every year, we dig out our finest novelty knitwear and crazy Christmas outfits, and hold a fundraising raffle in aid of the Arden Charity of the Year, which this year is cancer support charities. A big well done to Chris Allen and Mike Kennedy who won the Best Christmas Outfit competition. ☃️🎅 This year, we are incredibly proud to smash our previous fundraising efforts, raising £702, which will be split between The Christie Charity and Cancer Research UK (CRUK). As it’s #NationalChocolateWeek 🍫, what better time to share this luxury Toblerone Truffle packaging, created with tooling we produced for our customer MM Deeside. Using multiple #engraving techniques including deboss texture, faded emboss and chisel cut emboss, the packaging design has been brought to life with a luxury, tactile finish. Today we were at the #stockportpledge launch which has been created to bring together #business and #education to support young people so that they have the #skills that employers are looking for and give young people the best chance they can have at succeeding in the world of work. We are proud to be supporting initiatives like this and recognise that business needs to play a part in tackling the challenges that the skills gap presents. There were some great examples today of how businesses are helping young people shape their future and we learnt a lot today that there is a lot more than we can do on top of providing #apprenticeships. We’ve recently been working with Olly Charlton at Revicon Solutions on a lead time reduction project for one of our product lines. Olly is an expert in Manufacturing, Lean Operations, and Leadership and ran a successful workshop with us to value stream map our processes and identify key areas for improvement. While we’re proud of what we do, we know there's always room to grow. At Arden, one of our values is to work smarter not harder, so we’re committed to continuous improvement and are always striving to be better. With Olly’s guidance, our team has been able to identify any problems in our production process, allowing us to optimise our operations, improve workflow, and boost productivity. Collecting the right data has given us a clearer picture and helped us plan the actions we need to take to be more efficient. It’s been a valuable learning experience for our team, and we’re already seeing how these insights are leading to meaningful improvements.
