Continuing on the theme of parquet, let's talk about borders. Parquet Flooring with Borders (Wood and LVT) - What do you need to know? Parquet; think Herringbone, think Chevron, think basketweave. Think wooden strips (known as fingers) arranged in a geometric pattern. This is parquet. When parquet is fitted, the Herringbone flooring most commonly seen in many interiors tends to have a pattern that goes up to and just under the skirting to hide the gaps.
