Behind every metric is a story. Understanding your candidates’ journey from first discovery to final submission is key to growing the impact of your programme. It looks like this: 1️⃣ Candidate discovers your program (website visits) ⬇️ 2️⃣ Shows interest (clicks that submit button) ⬇️ 3️⃣ Starts their entry (creates a draft) ⬇️ 4️⃣ Completes their submission (the goal!) Focus on where and why they drop off, and make their path smoother. But numbers aren’t the whole picture. Industry trends, shifting priorities, and wider economic changes all play a role too—so interpret metrics with this knowledge to hand. "We listen, and we don’t judge." is a phrase that’s been trending online for some time now—but what if it wasn’t just a trend? What if it was a way of life? 💐 Artists Patricia Lee and Livy Bluu explore what kindness really means 🫶 Their words were recorded separately, yet when brought together, they form a conversation that challenges us to think: 👉 What is kindness? 👉 How can it be shown? 👉 And how could it change the world? P: Kindness is a core value and it’s based on the way we think, feel and act. L: In my opinion, whenever kindness is welcomed into conversation, or any human interaction, magic happens. P: It needs to be implemented from the top down - through policies, guidelines and support. L: And what I mean by that is people being genuinely interested in each other - they would listen, they wouldn’t judge not knowing the entire story of the person. P: Which means, people would think before they act. They would use new tools such as kind words, have patience with each other, share and be less selfish, and help and support each other. L: I feel that the moment when kindness enters the room, people just genuinely feel more alive and they open their hearts to the conversation. P: So those societies then would become safer places, more peaceful and happier places to live. This is just one of the many conversations sparked by this year’s Zealous Amplify Future Open Call: The State of Tomorrow 📢 We’re sharing voice notes from creatives on this theme throughout the open call period. We hope their words inspire your entries—and that some of their thoughts resonate with you 💭 Follow Zealous Co to hear more opinions from real life practicing creatives 💜

❗️Don't spend 30% of your workday researching! Did you know we spend around 2.5 hours a day or roughly 30% (!) of the workday researching and searching for information? (Source, IDC) If software is meant to reduce admin (and stress!), cutting down research time and guess work is a crucial part of the process. Here, we’re sharing some commonly asked questions when people are searching for a submissions management and judging platform ⬇️ 1️⃣ Will I need to train my judges, entrants and public voters (how about those that are less tech savvy)? 👉 An intuitive platform should allow easy navigation for all; judges, entrant and voters. Here’s what Shabih Rao, Head of Studios & Partner Engagement (Tearsheet) had to say about switching to Zealous Co: “Switching platform was super easy and smooth, earnings increased and users found it easier to apply than before.” 2️⃣ Can I test the tool before committing? 👉 Zealous offers a free trial with 6 free submissions! 3️⃣ How much is it actually going to cost? 👉 Don't waste time putting together costs or ‘negotiating’ prices. Zealous offers transparent and flexible monthly pricing. Not based on number of programs but submissions. So you can have Unlimited Judges, Unlimited file size, Unlimited files. No onboarding costs, No set up costs. By creating transparency, we want you to get on with your core role and not the technical stuff.
